Great work as usual mom. I think I'm going to try the cheese-making. I checked out a source on-line and I'd like to try fresh mozarella- one of Greg's favorites and is great in a Caprese salad.
I picked 12 large, perfect specimens (if I do say so myself) of green peppers today and about 6 large cucumbers. I shared some with the neighbors and we'll be having lots of it this week, so I'm trying to work it into my menu. Looks like stuffed green peppers tomorrow night, which I hated as a child, but now enjoy with homegrown peppers which truly are more flavorful. I don't think I'll make the kids choke down the pepper part. Too much empathy there. (although william loves veggies and eats them as I chop them for dinner)

wow, this post was chocked full!
I am excited to learn to make the cheese... also, in order to keep the budget low i am considering going vegetarian and only eating meat when we have people for dinner, once max twice a week. we have already cut way back on meat, but this is a further cut back and i will need to get even more creative... another challenge for me, i love it!
