So, speaking of economy... we have guests coming next week for 2 weeks. i have spent money on meat this month (don't usually spend very much on it) and bought in bulk. Then today I went and got LOTS of food for 57 euros (about 76$). This should last me the next 2 weeks, maybe longer if I do it right. The oranges were .80 a kilo and carrots .45 a kilo. We are keeping meals simple and well balanced, with dessert usually being fruit. Of course, then we got a box today from John and Cheri with all the treats we need! Chocolate, cheese wiz, tabasco, gold fish, a movie and more!
whooo hooo!

It looks great! We've got three chickens going into the can this weekend. We skin them so we don't have to pluck. Good work.-John
