Our trip to the USA????
Posted under: Well, today was our day of departure from Madrid to the USA to help our daughter Bobbie in Virginia after the birth of their sweet 8th baby, and then on to North Dakota to see John’s 95 year old Mom. We closed up the house and went to the airport and wasted an entire day but there was no room for us on the plane….We are now working to see how we can make these ‘buddy passes’ work and get us out of Madrid as cheaply as possible. I have to say, the buddy passes are a REAL blessing but in July & August the air traffic is pretty busy and we are having a hard time getting out of Madrid. So… we are still in Madrid and NOT in the USA… we will let you know what happens!
Our Final Wall Posting!
This is the last of the block wall. It has been a busy week for us and we have just 3 days until we leave for the USA. While working on the wall a strong wind came and blew apart our patio cover AGAIN… we can’t ever seem to get ahead! Oh well, we’ll have to deal with that when we return in mid-August.
Thank you all for praying as we worked and we give thanks to the Lord for all the wisdom and strength to accomplish it. Of course it will seem ‘unfinished’ to you in the photo because we still have to put a chain link fence on top of this block wall. That will have to wait until we return from the USA.

Another Update on our wall re-build
