Our trip to the USA????

Well, today was our day of departure from Madrid to the USA to help our daughter Bobbie in Virginia after the birth of their sweet 8th baby, and then on to North Dakota to see John’s 95 year old Mom.  We closed up the house and went to the airport and wasted an entire day but there was no room for us on the plane….We are now working to see how we can make these ‘buddy passes’ work and get us out of Madrid as cheaply as possible. I have to say, the buddy passes are a REAL blessing but in July & August the air traffic is  pretty busy and we are having a hard time getting out of Madrid. So… we are still in Madrid and NOT in the USA… we will let you know what happens!
