Our Thanksgiving

Nov 26, 2009 by     4 Comments    Posted under: blessings, Grocery Challenge, saving money, Spain

We scrimped and saved for this meal to share with our friends and it was worth it! Here are some photos below. It was an American Thanksgiving with a few splashes of Spain added.

15 of our best-est Spanish & Brazilian buddies came to the house.

  • looks delish!!!
we had ours on thursday, and today we go to the ICCP one. There will be a couple hundred people. Its chaos and pandemonium

  • It was a great dinner. we’re still eating the leftovers… lots-o-fun! Our only regret was that the fam could not share this time with us…

After dinner, Pastor Angel admitted he didn’t know a lot about thanksgiving but he was sure (from the many american movies that he had seen over the years), that when the meal was finished, it was time for the men to drink beer & watch the TV football game and for the ladies to do clean up…

    • yep, we wish you had been with us too… maybe one day… Sounds like you had a great time.

  • We drove an hour over icy roads to a friend’s farm and had Turkey, smoked turkey, goose, duck, chicken and ham. We are now on the “boiling carcass” phase.
Wish we had been there with you.
