Making Roti
When we arrived in the village at the beginning of the week, we forgot the box in the garage with:
flour, a loaf of bread, dish soap, a dozen eggs, and a few other things. Dang! Prices are high in the village and we try to everything possible to brings everything we need with us…. oh well! All I had for flour here in the village house was some whole wheat flour, so I set out to make some Indian Roti. It’s nice to make Roti in the village house because I have a gas stove and can finish if off on the flame.
They are almost like a Mexican tortilla without any fat added and they are GOOD!
