How to Make your own Herbs de Provence
To cook with herbs de Provence, dash it on potatoes or other vegetables, meats, salads, etc. I used it recently in pizza dough. Also, really luscious with soft cheeses, particularly goat cheese.
How to make Herbs de Provence:
2 tablespoons thyme
1 1/2 tablespoons rosemary
1 1/2 tablespoons marjoram
1 tablespoon savory
1 tablespoon chervil
1/2 tablespoon lavender
1/2 teaspoon fennel seed
When Life is HARD
A good friend of mine gave me a KINDLE gift card and I recently downloaded this book by James MacDonald. It’s a good one. I first came to know of the ministry of Pastor MacDonald when we went to church with our kids, Jesseka & Greg in Chicago. James MacDonald is the senior pastor of their church. Jerusha and Nathanial went to one of Harvests’ ‘satellite’ churches there is Chicago and were also blessed by his teaching & ministry. I recommend this book to everyone who knows HIM. If you don’t have hard times now, you will someday.
Bread baking
Bread baking day. The house smells good, the bread tastes better…saves money. This time I made one nut and seed loaf, one with Parmesan cheese with hot peppers & cinnamon rolls.
