New Postal Rates
Starting January 27th the postal rates will be increased from 45¢ to 46¢ unless you have purchased the FOREVER stamps.
Also, starting January 27th (but can be ordered on-line on the 28th of January- pre-order is available) the INTERNATIONAL FOREVER stamps will be available. Which are $1.10 each.

One thing I would say about the forever stamp… At a constant annual two percent postal services inflation rate, it will take about 45 years before those $1.10 stamps become equivalently worth today’s .46 cent regular stamp cost. In effect, these stamps are a “personal loan” to our broke US postal service which, will allow the USPO to have your $1.10 to use for 45 years and, then, they promise to send ONE letter for you… assuming, of course, that the United States Post office continues for that length of time into the future…
